Robben to miss Bayern clash

Arjen Robben has ruled himself out of Chelsea’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Bayern Munich at the start of what was already set to be a fraught week for the Barclays Premiership leaders.

Robben limped off after 21 minutes of Holland’s World Cup qualifier away to Romania on Saturday evening and a scan has revealed an ankle tendon strain which is set to sideline him for at least a fortnight.
