Football hooligan suspects arrested in UK

Twenty-six suspected football hooligans were arrested today following violence after England beat Wales in a World Cup qualifier, police said.

The men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in a series of dawn raids across the UK.

It followed violence in Manchester city centre after England played Wales at Old Trafford on October 9 last year.
