Alex Ferguson has been warned not to carry through his threat not to release any of his Manchester United squad for England’s post-season US tour.

The Red Devils chief appears to be lining up yet another confrontation with Soho Square after stating his displeasure at the two-match trip across the Atlantic, which will see Sven-Goran Eriksson’s men tackle the United States and Colombia on May 28 and 31 respectively.
