Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon has signed a new six-year contract at Tolka Park keeping him at the League champions until 2011.

The manager had two years to run on his old deal but Shelbourne were quick to offer him a new deal after a number of Scottish clubs enquired about his availability last term.

Just entering his fourth season in management, Fenlon has had an impressive start to his managerial career having led Shels to two League titles in his last two season as well as the first round proper of the Champions League.

Shelbourne are favourites for the League title once again this season as the club aims to make it three League wins in a row.
