Savage retires from international football

Wales midfielder Robbie Savage has retired from international football, according to a report.

The 30-year-old Blackburn midfielder, who has earned 39 caps, made his Wales debut in 1995 and established himself as a firm favourite for country as well as club, scoring two goals during an international career spanning a decade.
