Manchester United have an awards double to celebrate after Alex Ferguson and Wayne Rooney respectively won the Barclays Manager and Player of the Month prizes for February.
The award is Ferguson’s 15th monthly accolade – no manager in the English top flight has won more. The 63-year-old Scot led his side to a maximum 12 Premiership points last month.
