Thompson: Chelsea success not as sweet

Liverpool legend Phil Thompson has claimed Chelsea’s success will be tainted because it has been bankrolled by Roman Abramovich.

Thompson, who was former manager Gerard Houllier’s assistant at Anfield until last summer, believes any achievements at Chelsea will not match those of Manchester United, Arsenal and before that Liverpool.
