Manchester City chief executive Alistair Mackintosh has hailed the Blues’ unexpected inclusion in world soccer’s rich list as "terrific news".
Current debts of £62m (€89.7m) have not stopped City reaching 16th in the Deloitte Football Money League, eclipsing 12 of their Barclays Premiership rivals, plus major European clubs such as Rangers, Schalke and Marseille.
