Rovers confirm Dalymount as 'home'

Shamrock Rovers have confirmed Dalymount Park as their home venue for next season.

In a short statement on the Hoops' website, the club say: "Dalymount Park has been confirmed as our home venue for season 2005.

"Our sincere thanks to Bohemian FC for facilitating our move and to the Board of Directors at Drogheda United for their kind offer of assistance."

Rovers hope to gain a FAI Licence at the appeal process next week and have named Dalymount Park as their home venue for the appeal having named Drogheda's United Park as their home ground in the original application.

Rovers previously used Dalymount Park as their home venue in the 1989/90 season and are still hopeful of restarting work at their new home ground in Tallaght despite the ground being repossessed by South Dublin County Council last month.
