Candela: I've signed with Bolton

Vincent Candela has announced that he has signed a five-month contract with Bolton.

The 31-year-old has been out of favour with the Giallorossi this season, making just three Champions League appearances for Luigi Del Neri's side.

He said he wanted a move in order to get regular first team football.

“My decision to leave Roma had nothing to do with money, otherwise I would have stayed in Rome,” said Candela.

“I want to prove to myself and to others that I can still continue to play well.

“Bolton are a good team and there are three or four players who speak French there so they will hopefully help me to adapt quickly.”
