Liverpool have rejected a report claiming chief executive Rick Parry has agreed a deal with Chelsea for the sale of Steven Gerrard in the summer.

The Sunday newspaper report suggested Parry had met with Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon last week to agree a deal in principle for the sale of the England midfielder.
