Pressman quits Leicester

Goalkeeper Kevin Pressman is the latest player to be shown the door in Leicester manager Craig Levein’s January clear-out.

After signing Hearts duo Mark de Vries and Alan Maybury at the start of the month, Levein this week added goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld to his squad.

But Hirschfeld’s arrival has heralded the departure of Pressman who had arrived in the east midlands as a free agent during the summer.

Pressman, who made 15 appearances for Leicester as cover for the injured Ian Walker, has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
