The protracted transfer of Nicolas Anelka from Manchester City to Fenerbahce appears to be nearing a conclusion.

Reports from Turkey claim the Istanbul club have agreed a fee of £7m (€10m) for the 25-year-old French striker, but City insist a deal has yet to be completed.
