Gary Neville won the brotherly battle with Phil for the right-back slot and returned to Manchester United’s Premiership starting line-up for the first time in a month as the pursuit of Chelsea continued against Aston Villa at Old Trafford.

Neville’s introduction was one of two changes from the side which defeated Liverpool last weekend as Rio Ferdinand’s recovery from a hamstring problem allowed him to replace Wes Brown.
