Newcastle manager Graeme Souness today confirmed he is in talks with Portsmouth over the possible transfer of midfielder Amdy Faye.

Newcastle manager Graeme Souness today confirmed he is in talks with Portsmouth over the possible transfer of midfielder Amdy Faye.

The Magpies have also been linked with a move for Faye’s team-mate at Fratton Park, striker Aiyegbeni Yakubu, although Souness would not comment further.
