Huth in frame for Chelsea

Chelsea have German defender Robert Huth back in their squad for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership home match with Portsmouth after the German completed his recovery from a twisted ankle.

Huth’s fitness boost means Blues coach Jose Mourinho will give Ricardo Carvalho more time to recover from his broken toe – the Portuguese is expected to start running again next week.

Apart from midfielder Scott Parker (broken foot), Chelsea have no further injury worries with Tiago expected to shake off the ankle injury which forced him to miss the 2-0 win at Tottenham last week.
