Middlesbrough goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has ended speculation over his future by agreeing a three-year contract extension.

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has ended speculation over his future by agreeing a three-year contract extension.

The 32-year-old Australia international is set to sign a deal next week to keep him at the Riverside Stadium until 2008.

Boro boss Steve McClaren had seen Schwarzer linked with both Manchester United and Arsenal this season.
