Barry Ferguson will miss Blackburn’s Premiership trip to Portsmouth tomorrow as questions continue to swirl over his Ewood Park future.

Barry Ferguson will miss Blackburn’s Premiership trip to Portsmouth tomorrow as questions continue to swirl over his Ewood Park future.

Ferguson – wanted back by his former club Rangers – has a groin strain and joins suspended pair Lucas Neill and Dominic Matteo on the sidelines.

South African Aaron Mokoena could be in line for his full debut while Matt Jansen and Tugay have both recovered from knee injuries and are back in the squad.
