Aston Villa manager David O’Leary has suffered another injury setback with key midfielder Gavin McCann ruled out of action for around six weeks.

Aston Villa manager David O’Leary has suffered another injury setback with key midfielder Gavin McCann ruled out of action for around six weeks.

The former Sunderland player is to undergo a cartilage operation after sustaining the injury during Saturday’s FA Cup third-round exit at Sheffield United.
