Mellberg back for Villa

Aston Villa welcome back skipper Olof Mellberg from suspension for tomorrow’s FA Cup clash at Sheffield United.

Villa also hope to have striker Carlton Cole available for a recall after he missed the last two games with a knee injury suffered in training – but the game is set to come too soon for midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger, who has missed the last seven games with a thigh strain.
