Keegan plays down Anelka rumours

Kevin Keegan insisted Nicolas Anelka’s surprise absence from Manchester City’s line-up at Highbury last night was not proof of an imminent move to Liverpool.

However, the City boss admitted that the club would potentially listen to “massive” offers for the French striker.
