Aston Villa boss David O’Leary made two changes for the clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park today.

Striker Luke Moore, who started the 1-0 win against Blackburn on Saturday, was dropped to the bench for midfielder Steven Davis.

Wales international Mark Delaney was back in the starting line-up, with skipper Olof Mellberg suspended after reaching five bookings.

Palace boss Iain Dowie also made two changes, with Ben Watson replacing Tony Popovic in defence, and Darren Powell coming in for Tom Soares.

Andrew Johnson was the lone striker for the Eagles, who had not scored a goal at their home ground for four games.
