Blues close in on Blake deal

Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that the club have been given permission to talk to Burnley striker Robbie Blake after agreeing a fee for his transfer.

The midlanders hope to speak to the player on Tuesday and push through his registration in time for him to be available to play in their FA Cup third round clash with Leeds next weekend.
