The Spanish Football Association will learn tomorrow whether FIFA are to impose sanctions against them following the racist taunting of England players during last month's friendly at the Bernabeu.

World governing body FIFA has carried out a thorough disciplinary investigation into the circumstances of the November 17 friendly between the two countries.

A decision had been expected to be delivered yesterday, but FIFA is understood to need additional time to convey their verdict to both the Spanish and English authorities.

Its legal team has requested a delay in the announcement so as to draw up and translate the various documents which must be delivered to the associations prior to the report being made public.
