Harriers unhappy with referee

Kidderminster manager Stuart Watkiss is planning to report referee Darren Drysdale to the Football Association over accusations the official swore at players.

Dean Keates and Chris Beardsley both claimed Drysdale had directed foul and abusive language towards them during the clash with Cheltenham at the weekend.

Watkiss broached the subject with Drysdale following Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Whaddon Road, but the Lincolnshire official denied the allegations.

But Watkiss said: “It’s not on, because if it was one of my players behaving like that they would have been sent off and fined by the club.

“I’ll be making a note of their allegations to the relevant authorities and demanding a response.”
