Diouf could face United
Controversial striker El-Hadji Diouf will come into contention for Bolton’s game against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.
The Senegal international has completed a three-match ban imposed for spitting at Portsmouth captain Arjan De Zeeuw.
Diouf was fined two weeks’ wages by manager Sam Allardyce in addition to the suspension.
Allardyce said: “Diouf will be available for selection against Manchester United.”
Defender Nicky Hunt will also be considered after serving a one-match ban as Bolton look to end a run of four successive defeats.
