Atletico complete Gronkjaer signing

Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of Birmingham winger Jesper Gronkjaer.

The Dane has agreed to move to the Spanish capital on a two-and-a-half-year deal, subject to passing a medical.

Atletico’s sporting director Toni Munoz told www.clubatleticodemadrid.com: “The agreement with Birmingham has been finalised between the clubs.

“Tonight we will meet with the player’s representative to finalise details of the contract and decide when he will sign.”
