Gronkjaer set for Spanish switch

Birmingham winger Jesper Gronkjaer will complete his move to Primera Liga side Atletico Madrid on Thursday, according to reports in Spain.

Sports daily Marca claims representatives of the Madrid club met a delegation from the Blues, headed by managing director Karren Brady and chairman David Gold, on Wednesday night and agreed a transfer fee of €2m (£1.4million) for the Dane.
