Liverpool will be without the suspended Dietmar Hamann for their crunch Champions League home clash with Olympiacos, the German having picked up his second booking of the Group A stage in Monaco a fortnight ago.

But Czech striker Milan Baros has been passed fit to return to the squad after three weeks out with a hamstring injury and is expected to start the match against the Greek league leaders with Liverpool needing a 1-0 win or two goal advantage to reach the final 16.
