Foley joins St Pats

Former Liverpool midfielder Michael Foley has joined St Patrick's Athletic.

The Republic of Ireland under-21 player left Anfield last summer and signed on the dotted line with St Pat’s last week.

The Dublin club also announced a new sponsorship with Smart Telecom, which becomes the club's main sponsors following a 16-year relationship with Autoglass.

The club claims the three-year deal with Smart is one of the biggest in eircom League history and added that Autoglass “will continue their relationship with the Saints in a different capacity”.
