Francis injury blow for Canaries

Norwich have been rocked by Damien Francis’ broken cheekbone, which could keep the midfielder, the Canaries’ joint top scorer, out for up to two months.

Paul McVeigh, who was not in the squad last week, is their only doubt as he struggles with a muscle strain in his buttock.

Forward Ian Henderson has returned to training after a back injury, but is not ready for consideration.

Scotland keeper Paul Gallacher continues his recovery from an ankle injury, so Darren Ward will again be on the bench as cover for regular number one Rob Green, who recovered from a dead leg to play against Southampton.
