Smith not gone yet, says Redknapp

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp maintains Jim Smith “has not gone yet” amid suggestions his assistant has quit the club.

Reports on the south coast suggest Smith has already stepped down due to his deteriorating relationship with chairman Milan Mandaric, who earlier this month brought in Velimir Zajec as executive director to look at all aspects of the club.
