Bruce buoyed by Melchiot recall

Steve Bruce believes that Mario Melchiot’s return to the Dutch squad is a testament to the successful way he has adapted to life at Birmingham City after his summer move from Chelsea.

Melchiot had endured a spell in the international wilderness but his performances for City led to him be called up for Wednesday’s home World Cup qualifier with Andorra.
