Robben continues good form for Chelsea

Arjen Robben produced another super show to inspire Chelsea back to the top of the Barclays Premiership tonight after this emphatic win over west London rivals Fulham.

Robben scored a brilliant goal – his fourth in as many matches – and set up the final goal for substitute Tiago as well as countless other chances for the visitors, for whom Frank Lampard and William Gallas were also on target either side of Robben’s strike.

Papa Bouba Diop’s magnificent volley allowed Fulham to draw briefly level early in the second half, but Chelsea could have won by even more, with Lampard twice unfortunate not to be awarded a penalty in the opening half.
