Huckerby signs new Norwich deal

Norwich striker Darren Huckerby has signed a one-year contract extension with the club, taking him through to June 2007.

The former Coventry and Leeds forward is the Canaries’ top scorer this season with four goals and joined the club from Manchester City on Boxing Day last year after a successful three-month loan period at Carrow Road.

Norwich manager Nigel Worthington told the club’s official website www.canaries.co.uk: “It’s great news for everyone at the club.”
