Marlon King came closest as Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest gave Fulham a fright at the City Ground.

King saw a 15th-minute shot tipped over the bar by former Forest ‘keeper Mark Crossley and blazed another effort wide.

Paul Gerrard saved bravely to deny Andy Cole in the sixth minute while Tomas Radzinski also shot over the bar.
