Beckham aiming for England comeback

David Beckham’s representatives have denied reports that the England captain is out of next week’s friendly against Spain.

Stories in Spain suggested Beckham had given up hope of recovering in time from his rib injury for the match at the Bernabeu, and is instead aiming to be fit for the game against Barcelona in 11 days’ time.
