Manchester United will visit Beijing for the first time as part of next summer’s Far East tour.

Full details of the four-match trip, which will also take in Hong Kong and Japan, are not due to be confirmed until the middle of December but it is confirmed Alex Ferguson’s side will take on Chinese Super League outfit Beijing Hyundai on July 26.

For all their indifferent Premiership form of late, United can expect to play in front of packed houses as they embark on their first Asian trip for four seasons.

The Red Devils have a massive following on the continent and are eager to pay regular visits there, even if there is no chance of the anonymity Ferguson’s squad have enjoyed in the United States over the last two summers.
