Another referee upsets Keegan

Kevin Keegan was left cursing the referee for the second Premiership game on the trot – but at least his ire was quelled by unearthing the “new Billy Bremner”.

Eight days after talking himself into trouble with the Football Association for his vicious attack on Steve Dunn over his handling of the 4-3 defeat at Newcastle, Keegan was counting the cost of Steve Bennett’s failure to award his side either of two late penalties.
