Dublin City stage dramatic comeback

Dublin City staged a remarkable late comeback to keep their Premier Division hopes alive.

Gary Beckett put Derry in front after 24 minutes when he volleyed home from ten yards after Kevin Deery headed down a Farren cross.

Farren increased Derry’s lead four minutes before the break when he dived low to head home a Killian Brennan cross.

But Robbie Farrell led the comeback when stabbing home a Peter Hynes cross on 81 minutes.

Two minutes later, Paul Crowley levelled when shooting home a deflection from a Marc Kenny free-kick.

Kenny then played Hynes through for the winner on 87 minutes.
