Pascal Cygan replaced England defender Sol Campbell at the heart of the Arsenal defence as the Arsene Wenger’s side looked to start another unbeaten run against Southampton at Highbury.

Campbell missed out on this Barclays Premiership clash due a recurrence of his troublesome Achilles injury.
