Debuts for Man City acadamy pair

Nedum Onuoha and Jonathan D’Lareya will both be handed their senior Manchester City debuts in tomorrow night’s Carling Cup clash with Arsenal at Eastlands.

The academy pair will start against the Gunners after manager Kevin Keegan confirmed Nicolas Anelka (groin) and Jon Macken (back) were both ruled out.

Trevor Sinclair returns in place of Steve McManaman, who is rested after a recent Achilles problem, while Ronald Waterreus will take over in goal from David James.
