Dublin to host Football Leagues meeting

The eircom League is to host a European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) meeting in Dublin on Tuesday, it announced today.

The eircom League is to host a European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) meeting in Dublin on Tuesday, it announced today.

The eircom League joined the EPFL in July and representatives from 16 European leagues will convene at the Burlington Hotel for a two-day meeting.

Delegates will discuss, among other things, FIFA regulations for the status and transfer of players, public access to information on exclusive broadcast rights contracts and a report into artificial pitches.

Delegates will be chairmen, presidents and general secretaries from the Irish, English, Scottish, Belgian, French, Dutch, German, Austrian, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and Finnish leagues.
