Redknapp to ring changes for Cup clash

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp will again call upon some of his reserves for the Carling Cup clash with Leeds United at Fratton Park tomorrow.

Goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown is expected to take over from veteran Shaka Hislop while midfielders Richard Hughes, Aliou Cisse and Eyal Berkovic are all set to feature along with defender Matt Taylor who replaces the injured David Unsworth.

Skipper Arjan de Zeeuw may also make a comeback after injury and loan-signing Valery Mezague is in line for his first home start.

Senegal striker Diomansy Kamara, who scored the winner at Tranmere in the previous round, also looks likely to make his full Fratton Park bow after his first Premiership goal at Middlesbrough on Sunday.

Provisional squad: Ashdown; Griffin, Primus, Stefanovic, de Zeeuw, Taylor, Faye, Mezague, Quashie, Hughes, Cisse, Berger, Berkovic, Fuller, Kamara, LuaLua, Yakubu, Hislop or Guatelli (gk’s).
