Lennon tells Celtic board to spend

Celtic midfielder Neil Lennon has told the Parkhead board the club are “going backwards” after failing to spend on squad strengthening following the UEFA Cup final.

The former Northern Ireland international was part of the Hoops’ team which crashed to a 3-0 defeat by Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine on Wednesday.
