Last-minute score gives Shels the points

A last-gasp goal by Gerard Rowe kept Shelbourne on course for the eircom League title with a 3-2 victory over Dublin City.

Shelbourne opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Jamie Harris headed home an Alan Cawley cross though Dublin City were level in the 27th minute when Marc Kenny scored a penalty after Cathal O’Connor had been fouled by Kevin Doherty.

Jason Byrne scored his 24th of the season with seven minutes remaining to put Shelbourne in front once more but Robbie Farrell drew Dublin level in injury time only for Rowe to score a last gasp winner.
