United fans plan more anti-takeover talks

Manchester United fans’ groups have paved the way for more talks with financier Keith Harris over the future of the Old Trafford club.

With rumours rising American business tycoon Malcolm Glazer is about to launch a formal takeover bid, representatives of key supporters’ groups – the Independent Manchester United Supporters Association and Shareholders United - travelled to London to meet Harris for the first time today.
