St Patrick’s Athletic can perform the last rites on Dublin City’s premier division status with a victory at Richmond Park tonight (7.45pm).

After all the must-win games the Vikings have gone into over the summer, tonight’s visit to Inchicore really does have a do-or-die scenario about it.

Roddy Collins’ City side will be relegated if they fail to win and Shamrock Rovers win or draw on Saturday night at Longford Town.

Neither Collins or St Patrick’s counterpart John McDonnell has any doubtful starters, suspensions or injuries to contend with but Pat’s will be in more confident mood having held Bohemians to a 2-2 draw last time out, while City were beaten 2-1 at Waterford.
