Robbie forced to accept Savage ban

Robbie Savage has labelled FIFA’s decision to uphold his suspension for Wales’ vital clash with England "absolutely disgraceful" but has accepted defeat in his bid to overturn the ban.

Savage was sent off in Wales’ recent World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland – the only red card of his career – and the Football Association of Wales this week confirmed that world football’s governing body were definitely imposing a one-match ban.
