Fulham win tests Saints' fans patience
Fulham 1 Southampton 0
Tomasz Radzinski netted his first Barclays Premiership goal for Fulham which proved enough to beat Southampton 1-0 at Craven Cottage.
The Canadian striker, a summer signing from Everton, nipped ahead of Claus Lundekvam after 24 minutes to nod past Antti Niemi from close range, adding to his midweek double in the Carling Cup win at Northampton.
Southampton had their chances, with Kevin Phillips forcing a good save from Edwin van der Sar during the first half, but then dragging a late effort wide after a blunder by Ian Pearce.
